Kate Garry Hudson is the daughter of veteran iconic actress Goldie Hawn and a former musician named Bill Hudson but Kate was actually raised by Kurt Russell since she was age 3. She considers Russell, whom she lovingly calls “Pa”, more to be her father as he was the one actually there for her growing up. She told Hello Magazine in an interview that, “He is my dad. He was always there, for the soccer games, the recitals always.” But despite being raised by two of the most iconic faces in Hollywood, Kate turned out to be a successful actress in her own right. Enough to make even her legendary parents proud of her.
Kate Hudson started out young, the same as other celebrity children. She started attending auditions at the age of 11 and finally landed a small role in the TV series “Party of Five” in 1996. She played the bubbly character, Cory, with her short blond bob hairstyle with long side bangs. She gets the courage to do anything from her family and that clearly shows when she shaved her head back in 2018. She told in an interview with Harpers Bazaar that, “The shaved head was awesome! If you’ve got the guts to do it, do it.” and she clearly has it. She wowed the crowd when she showed up to the premiere of the Marshall movie in New York.
